I purchased this movie (blockbuster.com) and you are correct. There is about 15-20 minutes filmed on base. The front gate, near the church, movie theater, golf course, base gym, and yes the housing area. Who lived in 7-A?????? 7-A is where much was filmed.
I didn't care for the movie much (I give it 2.5 stars) but it was worth the base sceenery.
