I'm looking forward to this site growing and expanding. I was working on one myself, when it's done we'll link up! Hi Teresa,
I think I played soccer with your brother... Can't remember if he was on the football team though. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. I'll most certainly attend the next reunion in San Antonio, too.

Posted by John Othmer on July 01, 1997 at 10:57:18:Well everytime i think about Zaragoza it brings back so many happy memories. I miss so many people and wish i could find some of them. I often wonder where and what these friends who meant so much to me are doing these days. If you remember me please send me e-mail. I'd love to hear from all of you. I graduated from ZHS in 1977. I now live in Jacksonville Beach, FL. I'm married (13 yrs.) and own a construction company. I am trying to work it out to be at the reunion, but it looks like because of other travels it's going to be a last minute decision. I already have plans to be in Dallas and Houston in early October, so we'll see. My brother, Doug, lives in Dallas and has plans to be at the reunion. hope to hear from you.

Hey John,
I believe I knew you at ZAB during the 1974-75 school year (???) Weren't you a Dormie? I was from Crete with Vin, Liane, JoAnn, Joe, Lee and Steve. Marie Goldson and I used to "go together". We have been married 22 years now. There is a good chance we'll be at the reunion.

I attended ZHS for 5 months and graduated with the class of '77. I've been living in NJ for 8 years. (The longest I've lived anywhere) I've been married 14 years, have 3 great kids and teach Spanish part-time!

Beth C. or B.,
Hay, it's Tim Almond. I saw your name so I thought I would remind you of the old days in Kasan, remember the strip poker games - you seemed to lose alot but always quit before it was too late. Hope your card playing has improved. I'll be in Allentown, PA the first weekend of August doing a triathalon - that's about as close as I'll get to NJ. Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion and bring plenty of pix of the kids!

I live here in Dallas. So, I'll be at the reunion. It ought to be interesting. I was at ZAB from '74 to '77. Remember Mr. Perry's Youth Center... The all night disco dance-a-thons...the football games...the rappelling/camping trip with Mr. Robbins...back in '86 or so, I sneaked into the NFL San Diego Chargers locker room to see Anthony Steels...I wonder is Mr. Anderson ever finished his corvette in shop class...Allen Ashford is supposed to live in Arlington, TX...Dave Moore is in Tulsa, OK...Rick Fletcher is in Las Vegas.
All for now. Give me a call or e-mail me. (972)612-7892 (214)692-1522 work NOPT@AOL.com

Currently living in northern VA, married, one daughter. Saw John Othmer last fall at a golf tournament. Jim Binder is in Wyoming, reply to me and I'll send you his address. I'm going to meet Jim Binder in Baltimore on July 19 for an Orioles game and will try to talk him into making the trip too. Hey Tim,
Hearing from all these people after so many years is unreal. My mom and dad asked if I have heard anything about you...and they don't want to know about a few others, HA!
How are you? My brother and I live in Dallas, TX. He's in banking. I'm a creative director in the advertising business. Just got married (1st time) last June of '96. Also just found out I have a 9 year old son. My wife and I are going through the legal mumbo jumbo. We're extremely happy about the situation...a little bitter for obvious reasons. Saw him for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He's coming to Dallas this weekend.
Marine Core Huh? What division, rank, coolest thing you've done, etc...desert storm? My dad retired with a double "deuce". Sometimes I wish I had gone in the service for 4-6 years. I love to sail...especially 1-2 week long offshore passages. Would have loved to been a commander in the coast guard (ship or aircraft).
Yes, I still fly RC off and on. I play around with competition sailplanes. Got a JR radio. Can you beleive what you can do with the computerized radios today?
Also got my private pilots license (instrument rated, too). Would like to buy a aerobatic plane and get into IAC competitions. My sons arrival will postpone these grand ideas.
All for now. Hope you can make it to Dallas/Arlington for this years reunion.
Take care of your feet, Mr. Gump.
Bruce

Becci,
This is probably no help at all, but I saw Mary Ann at a ZHS reunion in Washington DC in August,1980. At the time she was attending Rutgers in NJ. I checked the Rutgers Alumni page (rutgers.edu), No luck. New York phone books list 100's of "M. Thompsons" oh well........Re: Como esta?

Sorry guys, no firefighting here, although my wife almost burned down our kitchen earlier this year and it's hotter than hell here right now. Does that qualify? I'll see you guys at the reunion. I've been trying to convince Bob Gibson to attend but he's waffling a bit. You can put some pressure on him by e-mailing him at 102051.2333@compuserve.com.
Just a side note.....
Posted by Jeff Hickman on August 20, 1997 at 14:07:49:I just wanted to say I like the new site....and also that the APO address of ZAB changed in 1991 from APO New york 09286 to APO AE 09646...
